Thursday June 7

Tonight at youth was a blast ...
We got a big blessing tonight.. Holli Durost came and let us in an awsome worship time... It was a great time of worship music ... So thank you so much Holli.. Can't wait for next time...
Then we had a talk on Forgiveness.. which is a hard thing to do sometimes.. So we gave them some stories about incidents and how unforgiveness can really ruin your life and the only way to get over that is to give it to God and with his Grace and Mercy, He will help you overcome it.. He is awsome like that...
Also we all brought a little something to eat and had a big feast after.. It was a big blessing...
We had 21 youth there, Thank you Lord..
But we have to say Good-bye to Becky (the girl below), she is going
home tomorrow... We will miss you Becky, you are a great girl and a lot of fun... We will keep you in our prayers.. God Bless...

Well ok, so here is some news....

We are having a car wash this saturday June 2, from 1-4 @ Lakewood Fitness Gym... all the proceeds go to Jacob Ridgley, who just had surgery @ the IWK in Halifax.. and will have to make more trips down to halifax.. So if you want to come and help out, please be there at

Also we are doing a walk-a-thon to raise money for Jacob... It will be on June 9 from 12 to 3..

Youth was fun last night, Amanda was there to share about her upcoming trip to China and we talked about the upcoming month.. It was a good time...

We had a guest speaker...
Sarah Comeau was there to share her experience with YWAM.. She shared her testimony and told us about her trip to Toronto, Germany & Turkey.. and about what God showed her on that trip.. So we were really blessed .. Thanks Sarah for sharing...

Hearing God's Voice ....

Thursday May 10

It was a awesome night of learning and fun.. We watched Mark Hall from Casting Crown's testimony, He talked about how he struggled with hearing God and really accepting that God loves us and really wants us .. I loved what he said "GOD DOESN"T NEED US, HE WANTS US !" That is so true, but it sometimes is hard to really wrap your mind around. That God really wants me .. Little old me, with everything I have done and still do, He still wants to use us in Amazing ways.. It just blows my mind.. It just goes to show how Awesome and Merciful God is .. He is Amazing.. Everyone really enjoyed the video and then we talked a little about hearing God's Voice and truly knowing that He loves us and wants to use us, even with all our weakness and struggles.. Because its with those weakness and struggles that with His strength we can overcome with his Strength and Forgiveness... Its all about surrendering and giving Him your all .. then He can truly use you to do amazing thing for Him...
After we played a game where we divided the youth up into teams of two and blindfolded one of them while the other one talked them through an obstacle course.. but the catch was there were other people hollering and screaming all around them... It was to teach them to focus on one voice and not focus on the other noises of the world.. It's an exercise in how to listen to God's voice better... to put the noise of the world out of your mind and just focus on His voice only..
We had a fun time.. it was a bit loud, but hey its all about having some fun.. and the best part is that you get a little nugget that you can use later in life...
So all in all a great night..

Matt Brouwer Concert...

Hey Guys.. Just wanted to let you know of a cool conert coming to St John @ the Rothesay Baptist Church... I see him a few years ago in moncton and he was really awsome.. so if you get a chance to go see the concert.. Do it.. for sure..

Hey everyone.. So here's the deal... This month is almost over, which means summer is on the way... So we are planning some fun nights out and of course summer camp.. so make sure you are there to get all the information on the upcoming months...

Well its been a crazy month... As you all know the Ski Trip was cancelled because of the rain and snow.... But don't get stressed.. We are planning something soon... So come out this week so we can all discuss what our next adventure will be... So don't forget to be there at 7pm.... See you there...

March 1 - Donut Night

Well tonights theme was Being Real.. and eating Donuts.. I think the kids had a fun time... We talked a little about being real with your relationship with God all the time, even when you are with friends who are non-beleivers... its a big thing to be real all the time.. So we had a good talk about it ... then we played some Donut games... and had a good laugh. Check out the rest of the pictures in the picture link....

SKI TRIP REPORT

Well its official, March 17, our Youth Ski Trip... How exciting... I can't wait... So make sure to come to youth this week to get all the details.. and REMEMBER your permission slips. It's going to be a blast.. It will be a day of fun and a lot of laughs... Especially watching the wipe outs... Right Katie... ha ha.. and you can always expect Ashley to do something crazy to hurt herself... So lets all be praying for a safe day for her and everyone else.... Well what's the deal with it snowing on Youth night... Last week was cancelled because of the snow storm.. So this week its not giving any snow at all, just cold ... that we can handle...
