Hearing God's Voice ....

It was a awesome night of learning and fun.. We watched Mark Hall from Casting Crown's testimony, He talked about how he struggled with hearing God and really accepting that God loves us and really wants us .. I loved what he said "GOD DOESN"T NEED US, HE WANTS US !" That is so true, but it sometimes is hard to really wrap your mind around. That God really wants me .. Little old me, with everything I have done and still do, He still wants to use us in Amazing ways.. It just blows my mind.. It just goes to show how Awesome and Merciful God is .. He is Amazing.. Everyone really enjoyed the video and then we talked a little about hearing God's Voice and truly knowing that He loves us and wants to use us, even with all our weakness and struggles.. Because its with those weakness and struggles that with His strength we can overcome with his Strength and Forgiveness... Its all about surrendering and giving Him your all .. then He can truly use you to do amazing thing for Him...
After we played a game where we divided the youth up into teams of two and blindfolded one of them while the other one talked them through an obstacle course.. but the catch was there were other people hollering and screaming all around them... It was to teach them to focus on one voice and not focus on the other noises of the world.. It's an exercise in how to listen to God's voice better... to put the noise of the world out of your mind and just focus on His voice only..
We had a fun time.. it was a bit loud, but hey its all about having some fun.. and the best part is that you get a little nugget that you can use later in life...
